How do I Search Through My Chats (10/18/2023)

Step #1: Log in HERE

This is if not using the Mobile App. 

(Both will look the same) 

Step #2: Once Signed in you will see the following screen. Here you will click on the "Chat" Icon in the Left Menu, This will take you to the Chat. 

Step #3: Now that you are in the CHAT app.

to search through the Chat you simply click on the Magnifying Glass icon here at the top of the screen.

Step #4: This will open the Search menu. Select the Channels or DM's you want to search in (right now I am searching all DMs) and type in the Keywords you want to search.

Step 5: Once you hit enter it will show you the results of your search. you can now edit your search, and even limit the time frame you are searching in.

Below that is the list of results. You can see the message, and by clicking on the DM name or Channel name you will be taken into the DM or Channel were the message is located.

And that is it.

That is how you can use the search functionality in the CHAT.
